Youth CharterOne of the themes uncovered in the initial SYS hui was the need for young people to feel safe, connected, active and informed as well as having their voice heard. As a result, the Greater Christchurch Youth Charter was developed by a working group of local authorities after a series of workshops. It is intended that the charter will become the core principles against which all decision, policies, regulations, rules and strategies that impact on young people in Greater Christchurch align to.
